One of the primary goals of the Students and Young Professionals (S&YP) Committee is to support and host engaging events at major Power Electronics Society (PELS)-sponsored conferences around the world. To kick off the year, the first YP Reception of 2025 was held at the IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), Atlanta, GA, USA, on Monday, 17 March. Notably, this year\u2019s APEC featured an enriched program than ever, including technical, plenary, and debate sessions, that addressed key topics and emerging trends relevant to professionals in the field. This year, APEC proudly celebrated its 40th anniversary and made an especially powerful mark with its engaging and community-driven YP receptions organized by the S&YP committee and tailored to connect emerging engineers with each other and within the broader ecosystem of IEEE PELS.<\/p>\n
