The AdCom includes 18 Members-at-Large with rolling three year terms, so every year six Members-at-Large complete their terms, and six new officers are elected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PELS Nominations Committee will draw up a slate of nine or more candidates for the six positions. In addition, our Constitution and Bylaws allow for the nomination of candidates by petition from the PELS membership.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A nomination petition signed by a minimum of <\/span><b>219<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Society&#8217;s eligible voting members by <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday, 1 August 202<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 shall automatically place that nominee on the ballot for the Member-at-Large election. To allow sufficient time for collection of the signatures, the proposal for the petition, together with a photograph, brief biography (350 words) and candidate statement (150-250 words) should be provided to Brad Lehman <\/span><a href=\"mailto:PELS-NomCom@ieee.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PELS-NomCom@ieee.org<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">no later than <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monday, 9 June 2025<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The IEEE staff will then set-up the Society petition website to collect electronic signatures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nominations Committee and the IEEE staff will prepare the ballots for the election of the Members-at-Large <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Fall 2025<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Please watch for the election notice in your email, and when it arrives, vote promptly according to the instructions for electronic voting.
