Yet, by 2015, a mere five years later, their world had turned upside down, as these technologies that seemed to come out of nowhere disrupted their well established, globally dominant businesses.<\/p>\n<p>What was driving this global scale disruption? Why were companies (and nations) representing a significant part of global GDP, with access to the best talent and consultants in the world, unable to anticipate this \u201cenergy transition\u201d tsunami?
