Power Electronics for Distributed Energy Systems (ITRD)<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Distributed energy resources are rapidly growing in grids with power electronics technologies, enabling additional functionalities and value-added services. The worldwide shift towards electrification and digitalization mandates the adoption of energy-efficient and economically viable methods for electricity generation, transmission, and utilization. Silicon carbide and gallium nitride devices have superior characteristics and will eventually become pervasive in the major application areas of power electronics.
