In support of our members at a local level, the lecturers are invited to regional chapters to lead discussions on the latest results and their practical applications related to the analysis, computer-aided design, and practical implementation of circuits and the application of circuit theoretic techniques to systems and signal processing. The talks should help to promote power electronics in that region. Members can nominate or self-nominate. class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The following guidelines are provided regarding the selection and operation of the DL Program<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a6f9cd9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a6f9cd9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div>\u00a0<\/div><ul><li>Nominations (or self-nominations) for PELS DLs should be submitted to the PELS DL Program Chair from 1 January through 30 June each year and include the following:<ol><li>Nominator&#8217;s contact information and a short bio (not needed for self-nomination)<\/li><li>Nominee&#8217;s contact information and full resume<\/li><li>One to three proposed lectures with a title and short abstract (less than 100 words per title)<\/li><li>Nominee&#8217;s past records in giving public lectures, seminars, or tutorials<\/li><li>Endorsement for the nomination from one or more of the PELS Technical Committees (TC)<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>The nomination will be evaluated by the DL Selection Committee, which is chaired by the PELS DL Program Chair and is made up of the Awards Committee Chair, Chapters Chair, VP of Meetings, VP of Operations, VP of Products, and two independent members appointed by the PELS President.\u00a0 The committee will complete the annual review by 30 August and forward the recommendation to the PELS President for official approval no later than 1 October.\u00a0 The DL list will be published before 31 December, acknowledged in PELS publicity materials, and honored at selected PELS award ceremonies afterward.<\/li><li>Appointed DLs will serve a two-year term and fulfill a commitment to delivering at least two lectures during the two years.\u00a0 Each DL can serve up to two consecutive terms (a total of four years).\u00a0 Appointed DLs will report their lecture activities to the DL Program Chair at the end of each term they have RDLs will be officially notified no later than 1 October each year.\u00a0 The RDL list will be published before 31 December and acknowledged in PELS publicity materials, including the
