The ETTC manages multiple working groups engaged in standards-related projects focused on the characterization and testing requirements for magnetic components and cores across various applications.<\/p><p>ETTC\u2019s scope includes developing and maintaining standards documents pertinent to transformers, inductors, and magnetic cores utilized in filter, power, and signal applications. The components addressed by the ETTC operate within the following ranges:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>Operating frequencies exceed 1 Hz.<\/li><li>Working voltages below 2 kV<\/li><li>Power ratings less than 100 kVA<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>The ETTC convenes monthly via teleconference and annually in-person to assess progress in developing new or revising existing IEEE standards, recommended practices, and guides maintained by the subcommittee. These meetings encourage attendees to discuss current trends in magnetic component applications and identify the need for new or revised standards, practices, or guides.<\/p><p>Participation in ETTC meetings is open to individuals with a genuine interest in the design, manufacturing, or application of electronics transformers or related magnetic devices. Active membership, granting voting rights, is governed by the PELSC Policies and Procedures.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-680e31d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"680e31d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Smart Grid<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a7bbfb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4a7bbfb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>IEEE-SA P2030.1 focuses on smart grid infrastructure and provides a knowledge base for understanding and defining the electric grid infrastructure requirements to support various forms of electric-sourced transportation, including both vehicle and mass transit. This is necessary to determine the future grid infrastructure requirements that must be implemented in phases in the future.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
