To support PELS&#8217;s commitment to fostering involvement throughout its organization and programming, the PELS Women in Engineering (WIE) group was formed.<\/p><p>PELS WIE is dedicated to developing events that support and welcome the entire community to join the conversation. Its goal is to facilitate recruiting and retaining women in technical disciplines globally. The group envisions a vibrant community of women and men in IEEE who collectively use their talents to innovate for the benefit of humanity. It is also a part of the global <a href=\"https:\/\/wie.ieee.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE WIE<\/a> network with over 22,000 IEEE members and volunteers who promote women engineers
